Foo Fighters Recruit Lemmy for New Music Video

Dave Grohl is a musician you either love or hate . When the dude’s behind a drum kit, he’s awesome. His drumming helped set the angst-ridden pace of Nirvana and contributed to the intensity on Queens of the Stone Age’s “Songs for the Deaf,” Nine Inch Nails’ “With Teeth” and the Them Crooked Vultures debut. However, when he fronts his own band, Foo Fighters, it’s extremely hit or miss.

Sure, a lot of Foo Fighters sound the same but they have a few gems in their mediocrity. Plus, Grohl also puts on a great live show and has everything down about being a great live frontman (aside from the music). But I got a little more hope about this new album they’re putting out soon.

For the new album, Dave Grohl teamed up with ex-Nirvana mates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear along with previous Nirvana producer Butch Vig (Nirvana reunion anybody?). Seeing as how Grohl is going back to the people who helped him make RAD music, I was a little more optimistic about this album.

The new song they just released is called White Limo. While the song is probably a grower, the music video is pretty funny and has the one and only Lemmy. Grohl has a great sense of humor. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
