Unknown Mortal Orchestra Does “Ffunny Ffrends” in Fat Possum’s Basement, Goes On Tour

Unknown Mortal Orchestra debuted their self-titled album just last month and they’re starting to get a bunch of attention for it. Music site Bowlegs was able to get the band to perform one of their tracks, “Ffunny Ffrends,” in the basement of Fat Possum Records. It’s a pretty solid performance of a pretty solid song.

It also looks like these guys have started to tone down their hipster look. They still look a bit goofy with multi-color stripped sweaters and eyeball tattoos on their necks, but it’s a slight improvement from the picture below.

Their debut is out on Fat Possum records. They’re touring with Yuck and Toro Y Moi and are apparently too cool to hit up Nashville. Fucking hipsters. Check them out if they’re in your city though. Judging by the video, they seem like they’d put on a good show. Tour dates below.
