The Growlers – “Row”

I’ve written about this band (and even interviewed them) enough for you guys to get the picture: this band rules. I haven’t met a single person who I’ve showed them to or knows about them that doesn’t think the exact same. It’s been a couple of months since Hung at Heart was released, and while the band is currently doing a small tour in the UK, they’ve put out another video, this time for their song, “Row.” The song’s more of what you’d expect from them; a trippy lo-fi track that’s laced with as much reverb as the acid the band was probably on when they wrote this. I like it, but not as much as the other tracks on the album. The video’s cool though. Give it a watch below.

Row – The Growlers

The band is probably set to take a well deserved break from touring when they get back from across the pond, but before that, they’re playing Austin Psych Fest (which probably has the best line up of any festival this year) on Sunday. I tried what I could to get there this year, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Bummer. You can check out more tunes from these guys below, including a few I forgot to post earlier. Whoops. Sorry, kids, but you had to have figured out by now that dad’s a bit of a deadbeat, right?

Someday – the Growlers

Someone Something Jr. – the Growlers (which in my opinion, is a better version of “Row”)
