Public Service Broadcasting Have An Interesting Shtick

I don’t know a lot about this band. I’m essentially ripping this from Buddyhead who apparently ripped this from Dangerous Minds. If a thief steals from a thief, is there any redemption involved? Probably not, but fuck it. I’m not writing this because I think this band is the next Beatles or anything like that. I just think their set up is interesting: a two-piece from London that plays instrumental songs mixed with samples from government propaganda films. The results range from head-nodding rock songs to songs that are almost fully electronic. It’s an interesting revision of propaganda, so I guess that’s what I find fascinating about it. See for yourself below. Their album, Inform Educate Entertain” is out today as well. Lucky you.
