Pink Mountaintops Drop Video for “Ambulance City”

Screen shot 2014-03-03 at 12.44.18 PMI haven’t heard much more about these dudes since the last time I wrote about them, so aside from the fact that they’re an offshoot of the awesome band Black Mountain and that their new record was produced by Joe Cardamone of the Icarus Line, I haven’t got much more info on them. Honestly, who cares? Who needs needless information when you can just let the music do the talking? With that, I give you the band’s first single, “Ambulance City,” which I’ve had on repeat for the past 20 minutes. Less goofy than their last track, “Ambulance City” sucks you in with its driving beat, relentless guitar licks, and a general feeling that you might accidentally overdose on the melodies; you’ll be singing “station to station” in no time at all. Give it a shot below. Their album, Get Back, is out on April 29th via Jagjaguwar. I’ll definitely be catching them at Austin Psych Fest.
